Hi all! I miss you guys, been MIA for a week... It has been a busy week... Jaem took his 2nd periodical exams, then school intramurals, and the coming all saints day. :)
Btw, got my gift package from US and france which came from my blogger friend Tiffani of yardsticks4lunatics. She's so sweet, love all the polish she gave me. Also the lippies are cute and taste yummy! :) Thank you very much tiff! who knows, someday we might have the chance to meet personally.. Here's the mani I made using my new claires moodies. Now... everyone cant afford the latest and greatest new products in the beauty world. However, one thing that most can afford to do is pick up a new nail polish. I believe that nicely shaped, groomed, moisturized and polished hands and feet are a must. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to keep your nails looking great and it adds to your overall appearance. The beauty companies have released their fall lines and the new colors for Fall 2010 are gorgeous! Deep, rich, and autumn inspired colors are everywhere you look and there is a shade for everyone – whether you like to sport boldly colored nails or are a little more timid. Below are the hottest trends in nail polish colors for this season.

1. Red – anyone can wear red. There are endless shades to choose from, so do a little shopping and find the perfect one for you. If you think you can’t wear red on your fingers, put it on your toes.

2. Black – is for the very bold. Please don’t wear this if you have extremely long nails, but it can look good on short neatly groomed hands. If all else fails, put it on for Halloween.


3. Gray – this is a must have color and it is showing up on hands everywhere! From pale gray to richer deeper grays, I think everyone can wear this color.

4. Gold and Metallic Shades – also being seen everywhere. From a sparkly shimmery soft gold to flat out wow bright gold.

5. Autumnal Hues – think orange, purple, brown and deep green.

And finally, matte nail polish is the latest trend. No longer do we need our nails to look wet and shiny – a matte colors a nice understated look.

Hi all, I now have 426 Followers! Last September I didn't realize that it was my first year anniversary on blogging.. Hehe... thank you for all the compliments and comments, I appreciate them all... eventhough I can't answer some of your questions yet bec I'm a bit busy.. Lol

BTW, Christmas is nearing! I remember last year when I joined in nail art contest and I won first prize on Nail Art World organized by Lisa.. I love Christmas season (not because of gifts) but because it is the one season that all kids are waiting for, especially my son Jaem... Get a Great New Look With Acrylic Nails

By Jessica M Delino Nails have long been a problem for most of the beautiful women. No wonder Hollywood stars and models have been using all kinds of nail enhancements for a long time. So you need not worry if you do not have perfect natural finger nails. Most people don't! That is why getting these artificial nail extensions is such a great idea. And acrylic nails are the best option among all the different kinds of false nails. Available in various colors and shapes, these nails also come in different textures and with certain special effects like sparkles, beads and so on.
Some people have nails that are naturally very brittle and break off or peel off very easily while others have extremely slow growing nails. And then there are some who constantly bite and chew their nails till there is almost nothing left! Whatever category of people you belong to or even if you are just one of those people who like to change their nails with change of outfits, acrylic nails are the way to go. Acrylics typically consist of a polymer powder mixed with a liquid monomer. The mix will hardened within a few seconds of application and the final level of hardness is reached within 15 minutes.

Quite durable, acrylic nails last a very long time but a certain amount of care is necessary to ensure this. Water or other stuff might get stuck within the false nail and your actual nail or the nails may start to come off. Visiting a beautician is of course the easiest way to solve your problems but if you know how, it is also pretty easy to fix it yourself. The first time you put on these nails however, be sure to visit a salon as without proper and careful application these nails will not look good or last very long. You can also get fungal infections if you aren't careful.

Just remember to file your nails regularly and visit a nail technician to ensure proper care. Go for square nails in a stark red for a dramatic effect or get a set of beautifully patterned nails in a rounded shape for a fun look. The price of putting on these acrylic nails will depend on the color, shape and pattern as well as the quality of material being used. If superior quality acrylics are being used, be prepared to shell out $ 70 for getting them on your fingers. Otherwise they are also available around $ 10.

Hand Painting + Modern Bamboo + Black Rose

Hi all, while I was browsing last night, I stumbled upon a hand painting which made me want to try it.. Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to draw and paint..When I woke up this morning, I was in the mood and I gave it a try, here's my new obra, hope you like it!

Materials Used:
88 palette eyeshadow
Nichido liquid eyeliner
Thumb nail "allue crazy red" n.p
Index nail "allue black night out" n.p

And here's the mani I made before I cut my nails short...I'm going to take driving lessons, long fingernails are a bit of a distraction and hassle, that's why I cut my nails back to its supposed to be length.. I named it "Modern Bamboo"..

And last but not the least... Johanne (thriszha) of FAB UR NAILS went over to our house last Sept. 26 together with Cheska. I'm glad to see you again sis, we did a lot of things,.. Thanks for all the tips and for the advanced bday gift for me! She gave me a Black Rose nail polish and some other goodies! I would say if you are with thriszha there is no dull moment.. miss you! thanks again sis! Mwahhh
